As legal counsel, we aim to make our clients feel comfortable not only with our firm but also with the legal processes we guide them through. In particular, in areas such as estate planning, we rely on candour from our clients in order to properly fulfill their legal needs. When we meet with clients, we put them at ease while instilling in them the confidence they require to trust our ability to meet their needs.
Experienced Brantford Estates and Corporate Lawyers
Jennifer Stebbing is a Certified Specialist in Estates and Trusts Law. We are therefore able to provide our clients with complex estate and estate planning services that intersect with other important areas of the law such as business succession, corporate/commercial work and real estate. Jennifer is joined by several qualified staff members who have devoted years to the practice.
Brantford Law Firm: Our History
Stebbing Butcher has provided the Brantford community with excellence in legal services for more than 60 years. Bob McIntosh was called to the bar in 1957 and maintained a successful and highly respected practice in our community for several decades. Ted Pease purchased the firm from Bob upon his retirement from the practice of law on August 1, 2001. In June of 2022, upon his retirement, Ted sold the firm to Jennifer Stebbing and Alan Butcher. Thomas Buck retired on December 31, 2022, and Jennifer and Alan are proud to be continuing his practice through Stebbing Butcher PC.
Brantford Wills, Estate and Trust Lawyers
Wills and estate planning, estate administration, trust and power of attorney administration are our core areas of practice. We offer clients not only simple will drafting services but also a comprehensive perspective on their estate planning with respect to their financial and personal goals.
The bulk of our work is assisting executors with the administration of Estates and Trusts and helping attorneys for Property manage the affairs of their relative or friend.
As part of our solicitor services, we also represent clients in dispute resolution proceedings that are not already in Court or imminently heading there in cases involving conflicts over wills, estates and trusts. Experience shows that we have been able to avoid Court by negotiating settlements.
This practice focus, coupled with our extensive experience and education, is a tremendous asset to our clients who leave our offices secure in the knowledge they have received high-quality legal advice appropriate to their situation.
